Frequently Asked Questions
Is this procedure painful?
Although it may look painful, the pain involved in placing the implants is actually less than having a tooth pulled because there are no nerve endings in your bone. It’s only if you are having teeth pulled that you would experience acute pain.
Is it covered by insurance?
In most cases, dental implants are not covered by insurance because it is considered a cosmetic procedure. However, it is always good to double check with your insurance provider because there are some group dental plans that cover part of a dental implant procedure, such as extractions (removing teeth).
How soon can I have my teeth?
For the All-on-Four™ procedure, you can have your teeth the same day that the implants are placed. For a single-tooth implant, it is preferred to wait 4 months before the crown is secured on top.
How much does it cost?
The price of each dental implant procedure varies widely. We always want to make sure that it’s something that you actually need first and then recommend the best procedure for you. Please apply for a consultation for more information.
